We headed into the ride and it was like a miniature house done-up with creepy old wall paper and older looking furniture and props. It was sort of a cross between a walk-through Wacky Shack and a haunted mansion. It had the simple little stunts all originally crafted like Bill Tracy would do, but not as silly or goofy like in the Wacky Shack.
This animatronic lady, which looks like Norman Bates' mom, is located in the manor's library. The bookshelf to the right is actually a motorized sliding door. |
We made our way through the ride occasionally running into various actors popping out trying to scare us. Some of the highlights were definitely the props under the floor covered in glass and the texture of the walls, along with some well-crafted stunts.
One of the great effects in this haunted house is creatures located under plexiglass covers on the floor. |
An authentic industrial mixer located in the manor's "butcher shop." Lady Fingers were on the menu. |
A bloody sink also located in the butcher shop. |
Frankenstein's monster comes to life in the manor's laboratory. |
