In the lab, an actor dressed as a mad scientist would walk around talking about how he needs more blood for "the master."  He would then get close to the patrons asking if they would like to donate their own blood.  He would occasionally bang a rubber pipe on the counter to startle everyone.

In the 70s and early 80s, the lab was one of the creepiest rooms in the castle.  There use to be morbid scenes like naked ladies with blood dripping from them hanging from the ceiling.  At one time, they even had a huge plasma ball in the middle of the lab.  

As you can see from this picture, the lab lost its classic touch in the 90s.  If anyone has any old pictures of the original lab, please email them to us so we can add them to the site.  You will be given full credit for any submissions.
